Wang Shaopeng, a pilot, and his wife, Qiao Yu, a flight attendant, both work for West Air, an airline based in Chongqing. The two met in 2017 and got married the following year. They have a son, and the family leads a happy life.

As they are always busy flying different routes, they spend more time apart than they do together. Still, the same passion for work and life makes them understand each other more. On Aug 22, Qixi Festival — known as Chinese Valentine's Day, the couple got a chance to spend the festival together as they were assigned to the same flight from Chongqing to Sanya. For the first time since their marriage, the couple celebrated Qixi Festival together at an altitude of 10,000 meters.
